He has been hailed as the UK's No1 Rapper

He is said to be 'the best in the game' aka the best rapper in the UK and I certainly agree. He is South Sudanese and he goes by the name of Joe Black

Joe Black is the people's MC,he is a popular and highly established rapper in the UK Underground scene but with talent such as his he is destined for world wide acclaim.

He has a growing fan base thanks to his freestyles, one of which aired on the Hip Hop Mix Show on BBC Radio 1xtra,which is the national radio station for Black Music in the UK.

Good luck with the rest of the year Joe.

Putting our hope into music

Hello Readers

Today's Theme is 'POSITIVITY THROUGH MUSIC'

In South Sudanese culture music is more than lyrics and a beat,it is used to rejoice, mourn and best of all unite the community. Therefore it has become a important part of our culture.

Today I have featured artists that share this ethic.

Yaba Angelosi

Yaba is a talented artist who uses positive thinking to spread the message of unity to the South Sudanese Community.

He is known worldwide for his song entitled 'Time to Vote',which is regarded as the soundtrack to the referendum process.

His songs also discuss important issues such as tribalism in South Sudan, this is shown in the track below.
